On Nov. 18 CPH is holding an event in remembrance of the Nov. 26, 2008, shooting that left a former hospital employee and an administrator dead and another critically wounded. The event, which is open to the public, starts at 10 a.m., and will include a service and a walk outside the hospital with prayer and song.

Hospital administrators said they chose not to hold the event on the actual anniversary day of the shooting, the day before Thanksgiving, at the request of a number of hospital employees.
